CTC and Orthodox reciepe

CTC (Crush, Tear, Curl) and Orthodox are two different methods of processing tea leaves. These methods produce tea leaves with distinct characteristics and are used to create different types of teas.

CTC Tea Recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of water
  • 2 teaspoons of CTC tea leaves (adjust according to desired strength)
  • Milk (optional)

  7. Sweeten the tea with sugar or your preferred sweetener, if desired.
  8. Stir well and pour the CTC tea into cups or mugs. It’s now ready to be enjoyed!

Orthodox Tea Recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of water
  • 2 teaspoons of Orthodox tea leaves (such as loose leaf Assam or Darjeeling)
  • Milk (optional)
  • Sugar or sweetener (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a kettle or saucepan.
  2. Once the water reaches a rolling boil, remove it from the heat and add 2 teaspoons of Orthodox tea leaves to a teapot.
  3. Pour the hot water over the tea leaves in the teapot.
  4. Cover the teapot and let the tea steep for 3-5 minutes. Adjust the steeping time based on your desired strength and taste preference.
  5. While the tea is steeping, you can warm the milk in a separate saucepan or microwave, if desired.
  6. After steeping, strain the tea using a fine mesh strainer or tea strainer to remove the tea leaves.
  7. If using, pour a small amount of warm milk into each cup before pouring the tea. Adjust the milk quantity based on personal preference.
  8. Sweeten the tea with sugar or your preferred sweetener, if desired.
